"Witness" is a short detective film with elements of mystical realism and melodrama, created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The story follows criminal investigation inspector Alexey, who arrives at the scene of a crime that occurred in a smart home and discovers the only witness - the "smart" speaker Sasha. The main roles were played by Timofey Tribuntsev and journalist Sasha Sulim, who voiced the "smart" speaker.
Through the detective form, I wanted to explore more personal themes: loneliness, trust, and the ability of technology to become unwitting хранители (keepers) of human stories.
