"Mom, I'm going to space!" is a popular science short film created in 2023 in collaboration with Andranik Sarkisyan and Darya Kulikova as part of an educational project at VGIK. The course task was to learn to work in a team: to search for artistic solutions together, to defend ideas, and to distribute directorial tasks.

The film was created in cooperation with Roscosmos as part of the almanac "100 Questions for an Astronaut from a Child". I wanted this film to become not just part of the almanac, but a separate story about the power of a child's dream. This is how the idea was born to tell about a boy who dreams of becoming an astronaut and one day gets the opportunity to ask the most important questions to a real astronaut. For me, this film is a reflection on how the boldest dreams begin with curiosity and belief in the impossible.

The film received the award for "Best Multimedia Directing" at the VGIK festival and was also noted at other film festivals: "Winged Panther", "Catharsis", "SENSUS", and others.
